After two attempts, which were both destroyed by frozen pitches, Woodford Town finally play on home soil for the first time since the turn of the year, as we welcome 7th-placed Romford to Ashton's Stadium.

Shane Baptiste's side did eventually get the year up and running on Tuesday night, with a trip to Hullbridge in the Peter Butcher Memorial Trophy, where a stunning 5-1 victory saw them reach the semi finals of the competition. In the league, we are well in the title race, sitting just five points behind leaders Stanway Rovers with two games in hand, and a matchup against them on home soil on Wednesday 22nd January.

As for the visitors, they reached the FA Vase final at Wembley Stadium last season, which they won, and cannot be underestimated as they continue their push for a play-off place.
