White Ensign travel to Woodford Town on match day eleven in the Essex Senior League, with Shane Baptiste's men looking to close the gap on first-placed Stanway Rovers, who lead the table by five points, despite playing three more games than us.
We've already met with Ensign in the league this season, as we won by four goals to one away from home in September.
The Woods
Our narrow victory over Athletic Newham on Friday night meant that we continued our unbeaten run on home soil. That win also saw us continue our run as the side in the division with the best defensive record, having kept yet another clean sheet.
Dion Johnston missed that game with illness, with Sam Owusu filling in and doing an incredible job at right back, and he was named Man of the Match.
The Visitors
Former Wood Trevor Harding is set to start for Ensign, following a hat-trick of assists on Saturday. In that game, they beat struggling Stansted 7-0 in an eyebrow-raising victory.
Aside from their victory at the weekend, the visitors have struggled in the league, winning just three of their opening eight games and sitting in thirteenth place. They have won just one of their last four league games.
