Woods held to a draw at Ashton's.

Woodford saw their home unbeaten run continue, however, they didn't do it with three points, having been held to a score draw against a struggling FC Clacton, who put in a spirited performance.

The hosts started the affair on the front foot, and came close to taking the lead in the 14th minute. Marko Protic and Nathan Sollosi linked up well down the right, with the latter seeing his half-volley deflect off the outside of the post and behind for a corner.

But, eventually, the breakthrough did come. Seven minutes later, Normand Kebi arrived at the back post to meet a Josh Banfield cross, heading home from inside the six-yard box. That opener meant that Kebi has now scored two goals in his last two games.

Chances continued to flow in the first half, with Banfield at the centre of it all. His corner on 39 minutes caused a goalmouth scramble, with the ball seemingly crossing the line, but the referee waved away the heavy Woodford appeals for a goal. Four minutes later, Banfield's cut back found goalscorer Kebi, but this time his effort ricocheted out for a goal kick.

With Shane Baptiste away on Wednesday evening, Dee Safer took charge off the team, and his side appeared in control heading into first-half stoppage time. However, the visitors found an equaliser against the run of play, and were level at the break thanks to Ben Sargent.

The second-half was very much the same story. Woodford dominated, took the lead, missed chances and were then paged back by Sargent, again.

Woodford came flying out of the blocks in the second half, with Nathan Sollosi scoring for the second game in a row in the 47th minute. He met Marcus Painter's inch-perfect cross, and headed home from close-range to restore the one goal advantage.

Sargent's equaliser came from the penalty spot two minutes after the hour mark, after Mike Agboola committed to a clumsy challenge. David Gokou came on looking to put the hosts back in control of the fixture, and nearly scored with eight minutes of the ninety to go, but for a superb stop by goalkeeper Josh Fowler.

There was a huge chance for one final twist in the second minute of added time, with Sollosi coming agonisingly close to stealing the three points. Substitute Jayden Charles picked him out with a sumptuous cross, and Sollosi - who was on the stretch - couldn't divert his effort goal-wards, with the tie ending 2-2.

Starting XI: Allan (GK); Owusu (Shilling - 86'), Mitchell-Nelson, M. Agboola, Martins; Jewers (C), Kebi (Johnston - 55'), Banfield; Sollosi, Protic (Charles - 68'), Painter (Gokou - 68').

Unused substitute: Luke Steele
