First Team Manager Shane Baptiste has penned the following letter to fans ahead of tonight’s huge clash with top of the table Stanway Rovers at Ashton’s Stadium.

This season we have been blessed by wonderful crowds. The fact that you support us whatever the score is noticed by every member of our squad. The fact that when we concede a goal, the first thing we hear is 'Come on the Woods' inspires us. No one else in the league has that.

Tonight is the biggest game of our season so far, we need that crowd again.I am not going to roll out the cliché that you are our twelfth man, you are more important than that, you are the heartbeat and the reason for our club. We have a soul at Woodford and that is you, our fans.

So please if you are thinking of what to do tonight, come to Ashton's, if you are worried it might be too cold brave a layer, if you are too shy, brave one song.
