The Woods exited this years FA Cup at the first hurdle, comprehensively beaten 4-1 at Waltham Abbey.
The home side did the damage in a one sided first half, racing into a 3 goal lead by the interval.
Woods Manager Shane Baptiste rung the changes both tactically and in personnel and some pride was salvaged with a much improved display after the break.
Samir Ali did pull a goal back with 10 minutes on the clock but a late wonder strike re-established the homes sides advantage and ultimately a comfortable passage into the next round.
Next up The Woods visit Takeley next Saturday for a game where points of some sort are needed to kick start their season.
